Hi! I'm Christina —

My introduction to graphic design began while pursuing a B.F.A. in Visual Communications and Business Admin minor from Cazenovia College.

It wasn’t long before I came to understand that a career in graphic design would involve three of my most central interests: creativity, communication, and problem-solving. Upon graduation, I was recognized for “Excellence in Visual Communications,” and I have enjoyed a career in the graphic design industry for more than five years.

I am happily employed as a corporate in-house graphic designer in Watertown, New York. In my personal time, I am accepting freelance clients, so please be sure to reach out if you’re interested in working together.

Outside of graphic design, I am a cat mom, bookworm, runner, beach bum, tchotchke lover, thrifting enthusiast, and “budding” gardener.

What To Expect —

My initial responsibility to any prospective client of mine is to create the time and space for learning more about their ventures, projects, ideas, etc.

During a consultation, I will pose questions that prompt them to think critically about the creative problems they are looking to solve. Once we have established the scope, main objectives, and timeline of the project, I will provide my client with a quote for their review.

The creative solutions offered to my clients are the combined result of careful research, process sketching, and a close attention to detail. The time and attention poured into your project will be evident in the quality of the work itself.

My intention is to provide each client with a creative solution that meets all of the agreed upon expectations while incorporating a conceptual spin that is pleasantly unexpected.

Early Inspiration —

There is no question that design was a persuasive force during my adolescence. Like any other child, I didn’t have the language to explain what drew me to particular book covers, cartoons, stationery, etc. Stumbling upon a visual design that strikes a chord with you is sort of like seeing your personal interpretation of the world reflected back at you. It is comfort. It is a simple pleasure elevated by the mystique of self-discovery.

I have a natural tendency to lean into a colorful style– whether it be my design, wardrobe, or living space. Color usage in any facet is such a valuable means of expression. While my favorite color is chartreuse, I couldn’t imagine defining myself by just one. Hence, my personal brand identity is flooded with colors that sing a unique solo tune, but when combined, deliver something more beautifully complex in its orchestrated selection and placement.

Rounded edges are a recurring theme within both my own design work and the work I am attracted to. The smooth, rounded style is approachable, comforting, reminiscent of the natural world. These are all characteristics I hope to inspire with my designs.

Lastly– if the font choice is entirely up to me, no strings attached, I will almost always opt for chunky round (think Dunkin’) or handwritten.
